Mom and I played at an agility trial today. It was a beautiful day to be outside and Mom always wants me to rush around but I just wanted to take it slow today. I'm not sure how pleased Mom was with that but I got cookies after each run so it's all good. I did come home with one Q ribbon - I think Mom calls the game Snooker. Mom was extremely pleased with me going through the weave poles today. It was weird. I do it all the time. (Mom note: We always have problems doing the weave poles outside of the BRAG training building and in a trial environment, so Nash doing them in a trial and outside was a huge deal!!) I thought it was going to be a Mom and me only day but then Dad showed up with Tug. It's okay though because Mom only played agility with me! :)
Yesterday was a nice day as Tug was gone all day. Ahhh, the peace and quiet! I was happy to see him when he came home but I have to admit the peace and quiet was nice for a little while.

Pool Time!!

A few of my favorite things...
This is my absolute favorite thing - ROLLING!!! This is especially true if find something that smells particularly good - although Mom tends to give me one of those horrible baths afterwards.
Playing with Tug. I wasn't so sure about him at first but now he's a blast to chase and wrestle with!
Mom had to teach me this game after she rescued me but now it's on the favorite list!
We can't forget the awesomeness of the POOL!! Last year I figured out how much fun it is to play in a pool - still don't like that hose-thingy. The only good thing it does it fill the pool!

What's in a name?
So anyone wondering where my name came from? Probably not if those reading are hockey fans :) Mom is a huge Blue Jackets fan so when the rescue she adopted me from named me Nash it was like it was meant to be. Being a blue merle, my "official" name is CJs BlessedBlueBreakaway. Mom tells me this is what gets put on all my fancy certificates that I get for playing agility with her. My little brother Tug (short for Tugnutt) is named after a goalie that used to play for the Blue Jackets. Dad gave Espresso his name. I think I won in the name department in our pack. :)

The Nash has landed!
Hello all, my name is Nash. I am a 5, almost 6, year old Australian Shepherd mix. My mom says she thinks I'm mixed with a hound dog of some kind since I have larger ears and a very deep bark. Mom and Dad rescued me about 5 years ago and since then I have lived the life of luxury. I have 2 brothers. Espresso is my older brother at 9 years old. Tug is my younger brother at 8 months old. Tug is a lot of fun, we wrestle, play in the pool and I just generally beat the crap out of him. Since Tug has a blog all about him - I told Mom that I wanted one for me.
Mom says I'm a well-trained dog - she told me she was very proud of me when I got something called a Canine Good Citizen - but I think that I have her trained. If I sit in my kennel for a few minutes, Mom will come and fill my food bowl twice a day!! How awesome is that! Mom has also taught me to play this great game called agility with her. It is so much fun - I get to jump and run through and over things! Best part is, I get these wonderful little things called treats for doing it! Treats. Are. Amazing.
I have 2 brothers but my bestest friend has to be my "girlfriend" Kira. She stays at my grandparents house. I LOVE seeing her and always get so excited when I see grandma and grandpa's house. Sometimes I see her at BRAG where we both work on our agility training.
Last summer I discovered that I love to play in water. So Mom bought a kiddie pool for me, so much fun. I dig, dig, dig. I'm not sure what I'm digging for but that water goes everywhere! And Mom seems to have fun taking pictures of me
